About us

LabMedTech established in 2008 as a developer and distributor of medical products. In 2020, a strategic decision was made to focus on the development of breath analysis technology. As a result, the company is now considered a start-up in this field, building on the scientific and research experience previously gained at the Institute of Clinical and Preventive Medicine at the University of Latvia.

The key focus areas – Planning and realization of fundamental and applied research studies and experimental developments in the field of medical technologies. Development and maintenance of related IT platforms. Data analysis.

LabMedTech personnel have extensive prior experience in epidemiological studies and clinical trials in the field of breath analysis for cancer detection, as well as in other areas.

Since the initial studies have been performed by research organizations, LabmedTech is a spin-off being involved in commercialization of the study results.
